Boop PDF is a browser-based interactive PDF editor created by Tangent. It lets creators add clickable links, fillable form fields, annotations, and decorative overlays to PDFs and image folders, and export the result as a standard-compliant PDF. The Service is provided on a one-time purchase basis with lifetime access to the editor.
3. User Accounts
To use Boop PDF, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Boop PDF only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Share your account access or login credentials with anyone else.
- Use the editor to produce or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or rebrand the editor.
- Redistribute or resell the Boop PDF editor itself, in whole or in part.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
5. Intellectual Property
The Boop PDF editor, including its software, design, and all associated intellectual property, remains the property of Tangent. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the editor for your own creative and business purposes.
You retain full ownership of every PDF you create with Boop PDF. The exported documents contain no Boop PDF branding, watermark, or runtime requirement, and you are free to sell or distribute them as you see fit. See the Licensing page for the specifics on commercial use.
6. Payment Terms
Boop PDF is offered as a one-time purchase with lifetime access to the editor. All sales are final. We process payments through secure third-party payment processors. Promotional codes may be offered at our discretion and are subject to specific terms attached to each offer.
7. Privacy
Your use of Boop PDF is also governed by our privacy practices. The editor runs in your browser, and project files are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or back them up. We do not transmit your PDF content to our servers as part of the editing workflow.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations
Boop PDF is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the editor will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every existing PDF in the world. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tangent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tangent, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Boop PDF or violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Boop PDF after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
